What Experts Say About will term 2 be conducted?
As a result of the widespread cancellation of exams due to the Covid-19 cases, the CBSE Board and the Union Ministry of Education are preparing to hold Term 2 of the 10th and 12th board examinations, the first phase of which was held in November-December 2021, and the second phase in March-April 2022. The possibilities of the second term of the board examination being canceled this year are quite low, as health experts have previously said that the third wave is under control. Students who choose to avoid the exams, on the other hand, will be assessed on the basis of their Term 1 exam scores. The CBSE Term 2 examination will last two hours and will include subjective questions.
“The sample question papers and the marking schemes for the Term 2 examinations of Class 10 and 12 have been uploaded on the internet, and the schools connected with the CBSE Board have also been informed,” Dr. Joseph Emmanuel, Academic Director of CBSE, told Media.
CBSE controller of examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj stated: “Only if the situation worsens will the second term of examinations be canceled. The marks acquired in the first term examination will be considered final, and results will be prepared based on them. However, if such a situation does not occur and the second term is successfully held, the overall result will be based on 50-50 percent scores from these two terms.”
