CBSE Deleted syllabus of Physics class 12 2021-22

Physics is an important subject for Class 11 and 12th students. As such, it plays an important role for final score in Board Exams 2021. Physics is a concept based subject and if a student’s concepts are not clear, he/she cannot score well in the  subject. Physics is one of the toughest subjects in Science stream examination. So student needs to practice well for scoring high marks in this subject. This year, CBSE has decided to reduce the syllabus by 30%. Class 12 physics deleted syllabus

Due to the Covid-19 situation, no proper school functioning is taking place. There is a increasing stress on student’s shoulders and it is very difficult to cover entire syllabus in online classes. So CBSE has decided to reduce the syllabus by 30% of all classes.

Here student can check the deleted portions from Physics subject for Class 12 2020-21 academic year:-

· Para-, dia- and ferro – magnetic substances, with examples.

· Electromagnets and factors affecting their strengths,

· Permanent magnets.

 

7 Alternating Current · Power  factor

· Wattless current

 

8 Electromagnetic Waves · Basic idea of displacement current
9 Ray Optics and Optical Instruments · Reflection of light,

· Spherical mirrors(recapitulation)

· Mirror formula

· Scattering of light – blue colour of sky and reddish appearance of the sun at sunrise and sunset.

· Resolving power of microscope and astronomical telescope,

· Polarisation

· Plane polarised light

· Brewster’s law,

· Uses of plane polarised light and Polaroids

 

11 Dual Nature  of radiation and matter · Davisson-Germer experiment
13 Nuclei · Radioactivity, alpha, beta  and gamma particles/rays and their properties

· Radioactive decay law, half life and mean life

· Binding energy per nucleon and its variation with mass number

 

14 Semiconductor Electronics · Zener  diode and their characteristics,

· Zener diode as a voltage regulator
